The full scope on a new-estate build:
- Pre-slab drainage set-out. Reading the builder's plans, setting out every wet-area drain to AS3500 minimum fall. Through-slab penetrations marked for every shower, basin, bath, toilet, kitchen sink, laundry trough and floor waste.
- Pre-pour drainage and sewer connection. Council main connection at the boundary, drainage trenched at proper grade, all penetrations sleeved, ready for slab pour. Inspected by council plumbing inspector before pour.

Builder-grade vs upgraded fitout: production builders almost always quote with the minimum-spec tapware, the cheapest gas storage HWU, and basic chrome fittings. We can install whatever you specify, and we will tell you straight which upgrades are worth the money. Tapware upgrade is usually worth the money (lifespan double, daily experience better). HWU upgrade to heat pump is almost always worth it. Premium toilet upgrade rarely worth it (mid-spec is fine).
